I feel like everytime I post, I have this crazy exciting news. This is by far, the biggest excitement in my scrapbooking world that I have had yet. I decided to try out for the PIGGY TALES DESIGN TEAM and I MADE IT!!!! I'm sooooooo thrilled. It is such an incredible honor to be working along side these incredibly talented ladies and for such an amazing manufacturer. This will be my first time on an actual manufacturer design team and to be quite honest with you, it's still sinking in. It just doesn't even feel real!!

One super aspect about all this excitement is that Amber who I 'battled' against at the showdown at the playground, and who came out as the top winner, ALSO made the team!! I had so much fun with her in the last month that I'm thrilled to get to work along side her now. Yay, Amber!!!

I'll update later with the link so the blogs of all these wonderful ladies who get to work with. In the mean time... WAHOOOOOOO!! I'm celebrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Looooooooooved making this. I think I had more fun making this than anything EVAH! I decided to make it for Ashley's birthday. She'll be turning 6 this Sept. I've been holding on to this Bare elements purse, trying to figure out what to do with it. Fun, fun! I hope I can wait a whole month to give it to her! THAT will be hard. To see it up close, just double click on it. Right after making this, I made two round cards with similar color schemes. This is what inspired me though!

THIS celebration is going to be HUGE! Come visit to see how great some of the prizes are going to be. Not only that, there are some fun games and fabulous motivation just around the corner! Register early so you can get ready for all the action!

DaisyD's contest

I wanted to share a LO that I did for a contest that I entered at one of my favorite sites (scrap4life). Craftwarehouse sent me these papers to do a DT assignment for them and they are actually a Christmas line. I had fun turning it around for a more summery look!

Cosmo Cricket yummies AND a publication!

Just wanted to share some of the things that I designed for 2scrappychixdesigns with some of their yummy kits. This is a LO of Ashley with some of my fav. COSMO CRICKET paper and one of my fav. photos in the world! I also got to work with the BUCK NAKED lacing cards by COSMO CRICKET (from August Kit). They are so fun to work with and on this card I used Scribble Scrabble from the August kit as well.

ANOTHER PUBLICATION!! I'm so very excited. CARDS Idea Book Series has asked to publish this card that I designed in their January issue. In a few days... poof! It'll be gone from my blog.

Final round of the Showdown!

The Showdown at the Playground has finally come to an end. Amber and myself were the last two standing! It has been so fun. Amber is an extremely talented lady and in the end, she won the showdown and was crowned 'Queen of the Crop!' I, however, was crowned Princess, so I will proudly post my last LO that I put together. It's one of my favorites because of the most adorable couple in the photo. The picture is of Arte's cousin Pete and his new bride, Liz.

Designing for Fiskars

Well, this is fun! I finally get to announce that they have posted the altered item that I made for fiskars. I became one of their '3 fiskateers' for August and came up with this....

The link to the blog is you may have to scroll down and find it by the time anyone reads this! It's the post on Flocked Pattern Paper.

Also... I wanted to give an update on the Showdown at the Playground. This nearly last round (just 3 of us left!) we had to come up with a LO that had paint, 10 ribbons and 5 flowers. Here is my take on the challenge.
